RETREAT & REHEARSAL: OCTOBER 25th: 4:00 - 5:30 PM
Attendance is required in order to participate in the Confirmation Rite and Mass on Saturday, October 31st.
Father DeMartino will be giving a 30-40 minute talk to the students and their sponsor (or parent if the sponsor is not local) in the gym while Deacon Benisek and Mrs. Roets are conducting rehearsal in the church.
There will be two groups: Group A = those assigned to the 10 AM Confirmation Mass
Group B = those assigned to the 2 PM Confirmation Mass

SCHEDULE:
There is limited seating in the gym, so ONLY the student and ONE other person (the sponsor or a parent) can attend Father's talk. Chairs will be grouped in sets of two (2), six feet apart between groups. Everyone will need to wear masks. The chairs will be numbered and you will be seated according to the pew number you are assigned for Mass - this information will be sent by October 23rd. Group B is in the gym first. Your ROBE will be on your seat. You will need to wear it for the rehearsal in the church. Also, by putting it on we can see if we need to exchange it for a different size. ENTER THE GYM BY THE OUTSIDE DOORS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE BUILDING ALONG THE DRIVEWAY. Temperatures will be checked before entry is allowed. At the end of Father's talk, you will leave the gym by the outside door and walk in a line in number order starting with "1" toward the front parking lot to the church entrance under the bell tower. We will not take your temperature again, but you will need to use the hand sanitizer before entering the church.
Group A will go to the church first. Temperatures will be checked at the door and you must sanitize your hands at the stations provided in the lobby before entering the nave of the church. You will sit in your assigned pew with your sponsor and/or parent. A third person can attend the rehearsal in the church, but when you move to the gym for Father DeMartino's talk, only 2 may enter the gym. Your ROBE will be in your seat. Please put it on to make sure it fits and leave it on so you can see what it feels like to move around in it when we practice going up for the anointing during the Confirmation Rite. At the end of the rehearsal, you will be asked to wipe down your seat using the spray bottle you will find in your pew so the space is sanitized for the second group coming in for rehearsal. You will file out with your sponsor/parent through the side door closest to the rectory and follow the sidewalk around the front of the school until you reach the outside gym doors. It is a longer walk, but we will be bringing the group from the gym around to the front of the church and we do not want paths to cross. To make things easy on everyone, please sit in the seat numbered with your pew number in church.

Please use the link below to access a google form to reserve the correct SIZE robe for your child. The sizing is based on the child's height. There is also a spot to mark if you own a robe and do not need me to set one aside for your child. Everyone needs to respond!!
